Education & Loan Assistance: • $10,000 Scholar Loan Program (LPN to RN) • $20,000 RN Loan Forgiveness • $16,000 RN to BSN Assistance Position Details: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg 5E Mercy Hospital South 10010 Kennerly Rd St. Louis, Missouri 63128 Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week Shift: Night Shift | 7:00PM-7:30AM Sign-On Bonus: - Experienced Nurses: Up to $10,000 - New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience): Up to $5,000 Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: - Associate Degree in Nursing - Nursing Diploma - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations. Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit. Certifications: - Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire. - Unit-Specific (Required or Preferred): - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse (CPHON) - Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) - S.T.A.B.L.E. Program - Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) - Other unit-specific certifications as required Preferred Qualifications - Education: BSN preferred - Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred - Experience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting Physical Requirements - Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly - Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift - Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties Why Mercy?
