Job Description:
Our HCA facility in Kansas City, MO is in need of locums
Neurological Surgery coverage starting ASAP. This will be ongoing
for at least 3 months with possibility to extend. Coverage will be
for 24 hour call coverage. This is general neurosurgery coverage to
support a Level I trauma and comprehensive stroke center. There are
endovascular surgeons to provide support. Case types are mostly
cranial cases vs. spine cases and the typical cases is mostly
trauma. There are 3 surgeons that assist with call volume. This is
also a neuro-critical care team as well as a 12 bed Neuro ICU. The
EMR system is Meditech. Emergency privileges are offered for clean
backgrounds.
