Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Kansas City,
Kansas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency
Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel ER Psych RN – Night
Shift Kansas City, KS 66160 • 36 hrs/week | 3x12s | Nights (7:00 PM
– 7:00 AM) • 13-week contract | ASAP start Schedule Details: •
Nights: 3x12s (7 PM – 7 AM) • Weekend shifts: ~2/month (as needed)
• Holidays: Required based on unit needs • No floating or on-call •
8-hr non-billable orientation • Bi-weekly pay • 2 facility
cancellations/month permitted with 2-hour notice Requirements: •
Active RN license – Kansas or compact • Certs: BLS required •
Experience: 1 year ER RN experience 1 year Psych RN experience
(hospital preferred) Must be skilled in psych assessments and
managing violent/agitated patients • Strong autonomy and clinical
judgment required ED physicians rely heavily on your psych
assessment and disposition recommendations ? Notes: • Not open to
new grads • Nicotine-free facility • High-acuity psych role in the
Emergency Department – not equivalent to standard inpatient psych
