Overview
The Radiology Equipment Specialist II position is an intermediate
level position. Working largely independently, the Radiology
Equipment Specialist II performs and properly documents scheduled
maintenance, complex repairs, and other inspections on a wide range
of medical equipment, with a focus on complex medical imaging
systems. Some examples of complex medical imaging systems are:
Molecular Imaging, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging,
Vascular/Interventional Labs, etc. In addition to work done on
complex medical imaging systems, the Radiology Equipment Specialist
II will also mentor junior Radiology Equipment Specialist on the
repair and maintenance of all other medical imaging systems.
Equipment is located at multiple locations throughout the CMH
Health System therefor, some travel is required. This position will
also support a limited scope of general Biomedical equipment. The
Radiology Equipment Specialist II may also be called upon as a
subject matter expert for the purposes of capital equipment
planning.

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job
begins at $27.02/hr, but your offer will be determined based on
your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the
person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our
Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
