Trauma Program:

• 
  
• 590-bed Acute Care Facility
  
• Level I -Trauma Center (ACS & State Verified)
  
• Hybrid OR (16 surgical suites, including 1 designated for trauma)
  
• 32-bed open ICU (16 surg + 16 medical)
  
• ED Volume: -50k -per year
  
• HCA hospital network of 5 hospitals funnels into Research MC
  
• Trauma registry avg 2300/ yr (20% penetrating)
  
  Physician Assistant Criteria:
  
  • 
    
  • Experience in Trauma & ICU Required
    
  • ATLS required
    
  • 1st assist experience preferred
