Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (RRT - PICU)
StartDate: 02/06/2023Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1350.00 - 1600.00

Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds : 580
Patient Ratios : 15- 20 patients per Respiratory Therapist
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Respiratory Therapy, (Med/Surg, ER level 1 trauma, ICU), There is always one person assigned to team lead per shift
Type of equipment : PB 980 ventilators, V-60, Metaneb, Drager VN500 in NICU, Vision, Airvo
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts
Floating policy: N/A
Patient Experience requirements:
Hospital Specifics-

Certifications: Level 1 Trauma, Burn Unit, Transplant Center, Level 3 NICU

Requested Skill Set:



Must have: Missouri Respiratory Therapy License, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred but will accept Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT)



Advanced skills needed:



Procedures performed on unit: Patient assessment, Oxygen Delivery, Airvo unit application, Noninvasive Ventilation application and management, Metaneb utilization, Vest system, Medication administration via nebulizer, Arterial Blood Gas Draws



Certifications Required: AHA issued BLS, and AAP issued NRP, Respiratory Credentials



Dress Code: (Required uniform)

Charcoal Gray Scrubs, black scrub pants allowed, scrub jackets allowed in gray or black

Required Qualifications
Missouri licensed Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapists
MUST HAVE MO STATE RT LICENSE
MUST HAVE NICU EXPERIENCE
