SUMMARYResponsible for leadership of the School-Based Clinical
Supervisor and team of QMHP (Qualified Mental Health
Professionals). This Manager will also provide direct therapy
services for consumers with the standards of clinical practice
established by the state of Missouri and the policies and
procedures of Tri-County Mental Health Services.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not
limited to the following: Provides direct supervision of the
School-Based Clinical Supervisor and team of QMHPs to include
regular supervision, team meetings, training, quality improvement,
policy/procedure compliance and performance reviews. Collaborates
with agency leaders and DBH in implementing the Zero Suicide
initiative at TCMHS. Collaborates with community partners to build
relationships, develop plans, and actively seek additional
opportunities to support needs of at-risk youth. Collaborates with
school district leadership to ensure effective communication
regarding openings on QMHP caseloads and scheduling. Provides
backup coverage as needed to direct reports. Provides clinical
consultation as needed to all clinical staff in regards to crisis
situations and backup coverage as needed. Works alongside the
School-Based Clinical Senior Manager to identify gaps in services
and ways to address needs. Actively seeks to resolve issues,
problems and concerns presented regarding services and staff.
Provides assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group
therapy to consumers Consistently meets billable expectations per
department guidelines. Completes clinical documentation in AVATAR
within 72 hours of service provided which clearly reflect
interventions provided and necessity of those interventions.
Maintains knowledge of agency technology programs and/or systems
needed to do the job and uses them effectively. Maintains required
training and certifications. Ensures staff meets agency
productivity standards. Other duties and/or responsibilities may be
assigned by supervisor.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,
AND ABILITIES)Education/Certifications: Masters Degree required
Clinical Licensure (e.g. LPC, LCSW) required Valid drivers license
and state required minimum auto insurance. CPR/First Aid
CertificationExperience Required: 2-3 years of position-related
experience required, including direct supervision of staff.Required
Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
Power Point). Prior mental health and/or substance use knowledge
required. Strong knowledge of clinical best practices in behavioral
health and Trauma Informed Care practices. Prior healthcare
technology software experience preferred.Skills/Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present
healthcare information in an understandable manner to both
individuals and groups as needed. Strong interpersonal,
communication and collaboration skills. Strong clinical assessment
skills, terminology, diagnoses, and best practice knowledge
required. The ability to develop various presentations, trainings
and programs on various clinical topics.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK
