Job Description:
The Marketing Manager - Employer Population Health (Health and
Wellness) is responsible for defining, planning, developing and
leading market growth strategy in support of the product and
solutions value proposition in the hospital, health system large
group practice, and employer market segments. This role will be
responsible for the management and execution of the go-to-market
and engagement plans for the Employer Population Health segments,
strategic partners and resellers (channel partners) for the range
of Employer Population Health solutions for both the Direct Sales
and Business Development teams. Understand customer market
segments, monitor competitive activity, and translate voice of
market to effectively design customer engagement and lead
generation activities. Identify and support our critical channel
and influencer relationships. This will include championing and
executing individual initiatives with each partner that would
further our market positioning, including providing the necessary
marketing and field support for helping the Employer Population
Health group realize tangible market success measures. Establish
marketing goals and design marketing plans in conjunction with
Commercial partners to address local and national opportunities.
Manage tight working relationships with Quest Value Creation,
Commercial Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Product
Management teams.This person will work from Lenexa, KS two days per
week with three days being remote (hybrid role).JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define, create, and execute marketing plans for Employer
Population Health and Channel Partners/Resellers and activities
that effectively differentiate our value proposition and
solutions
- Segmentation and market understanding to align with target
opportunities
- Design lead- and demand-generation plans to help fill the
funnel with high-value prospects and engage with prospects via lead
nurturing to build relationships and improve closure rates.
- Identify effective commercial marketing programs, designed to
leverage equities and assets of customers, partners, and broader
Quest Commercial and Communications entities (such as website,
webinars, events and social media, demos, testimonials) and work
with Sales partners to execute
- Develop programs and messaging to establish Employer Population
Health as a thought leader and content that is appealing to the C
level/buyers
- Serve as a voice of the market and voice of customer,
leveraging market/competitive intelligence and customer input to
drive effective product and marketing strategy
- Maintain closeness with key stakeholders to understand their
needs and buying intentions, and gauge customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with sales,
business development, professional services, technical product
development and executive teams as appropriate to support the
ongoing success Accountabilities/Metrics:
- Segmentation and clearly defined target marketing and list
management
- Successfully launch new functionality/capabilities: targeting,
messaging, collateral, sales materials, tracking
- Create and execute annual Marketing Plans
- Drive and measure campaigns that build awareness, develop
thought-leadership activities, and create opportunities and
materials that support the sales team
- Establish demand-generation goals and execute plans to nurture
prospects
- Leverage 3rd party telemarketing services and develop processes
and tracking for lead effectiveness
- Design market-level activities in conjunction with Sales
partners for a select set of high-opportunity markets
- Utilize to monitor campaign progress and effectiveness
- Utilize Marketo to engage with customer prospects
- Communicate via website and social media to maintain
awarenessJOB REQUIREMENTS:Education Required:Bachelor Degree in
Business Administration, Marketing related field, or equivalent
education and experience. Work Experience:
- 5+ years of healthcare technology marketing and/or sales
experience with an emphasis on product or brand management
experience preferred.
- Experience working for a healthcare technology company with an
emphasis on EHR, revenue cycle management, HIE, connectivity
strategies, population health is a plus.
- Expertise and experience with hospitals, health systems and C
level engagement, and employers Other:
- Strong communications and writing skills
- Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity in a complex
multi-stakeholder environment
- Ability to provide structure to complex problems
- Supervisory and project management experience, minimum 2 years
(direct or indirect)
- Proficient in MS Office Products, CRM Solutions (Marketo,
)
