Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of ICU, Director or Nurse Manager, serves the advanced nursing needs of the selected groups of patients by providing direct patient care; educating patients, families and staff; and acting as a consultant in area of specialty. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards. Qualifications Qualifications you will need:
  • Current MO Document of Recognition as a Nurse Practitioner with specification of the clinical nursing area, required.--
  • BCLS and ACLS Required.
  • Five years of clinical nursing experience in caring for the neuroscience patient population required.--
  • One year experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred., ICU experience preferred
  • Master's Degree in Nursing required. Completion of a formal educational program of post-basic study and clinical experience and sufficiently prepared the employee for practice in the category of advanced practice for Adult Neurosciences.
