Duties Duties SummaryPLEASE NOTE: Based on the current hiring restrictions, selectees may be subject to additional approvals prior to an offer being extended.This position is located in the Bureau of the Fiscal Service at the Kansas City Financial Center (KFC), Customer Service Branch (CSB).ResponsibilitiesAs a Management and Program Analyst, you will:Perform or lead internal assessments to measure the effectiveness of workflow processes using process improvement approaches - including but not limited to Six Sigma. Offer recommendations on new or modified work methods for administering program services and automating work processes based upon application of analytical techniques and evaluation criteria.Engage pilot agencies to solicit feedback on system performance and socialize solutions to enhance agency utilization of data to make informed data driven decisions within their agency and across the federal government.Organize and deliver briefings of major significance to top management. Such briefings often require considerable interpersonal skill to explain disputed findings and conclusions defend subjective concepts such as value judgments, and influence acceptance of sensitive and controversial recommendations.Define performance metrics associated with the daily operations of the Payment Center of Excellence. Regular reporting is analyzed and provided to senior leadership team. Data forecasting is performed to track workload volumes, maximize staffing levels and promote efficient scheduling of operational processes.Travel RequiredOccasional travel - Occasional travel may be required.
