- Two years of experience in a social or recreational program for
elders
- Knowledge or experience working with residents with Alzheimer's
Disease and/or related dementia highly desirable
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and
assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited
to, dogs, cats, and birds
- One year of experience supervising others to include: setting
performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting
collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing
change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively,
resolving conflicts, etc
- High School or equivalent required
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- This role requires a valid driver's license and a good driving
record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with
all state and federal driving regulations
- Associates in roles requiring driving are responsible for
maintaining a valid and active driver's license. Failure to
maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or
termination in accordance with company policies and applicable
laws
- You may be required to work outside of your regular hours
depending on business needsWhat you'll be doing:
- Under the direction of the Administrator, is responsible for
the planning, coordination and implementation of the resident
engagement programs
- The programs shall be scheduled daily and shall make every
effort to meet the comprehensive needs and interests of all the
residents
- Supervises engagement staff members and
volunteers#LI-TF1Anticipated pay range$70,000 - $75,000 USDWe are
