Job Overview
The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for leading strategic data-driven initiatives to enhance organizational performance, streamline processes, and foster innovation. This role involves designing and overseeing comprehensive data strategies, analytics platforms, and advanced reporting solutions leveraging technologies such as Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, and data warehousing systems. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of analytical rigor, creativity, and strategic thinking, along with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. They will translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement data-driven strategies by applying multiple data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, SAP, Teradata, Business Objects) to provide robust analytics and business intelligence solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and manage automated reporting solutions and intuitive dashboards through Power BI, supporting efficient and timely decision-making at senior management and executive levels.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, Marketing, CRM Operations, Finance, and Operations teams to build and optimize comprehensive BI solutions and sophisticated analytics capabilities, including predictive modeling and machine learning.
  • Partner with Marketing and CRM Operations to evaluate and understand the performance of CRM initiatives, mobile app, and website engagements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Provide proactive mentorship and leadership during enterprise-wide projects, ensuring analytics and reporting requirements are clearly identified, articulated, and coordinated into overall system design.
  • Oversee the analysis and evaluation of sales performance, customer experience metrics, financial results, and operational efficiency, providing strategic recommendations to drive performance improvements.
  • Effectively communicate insights, strategies, and analytical findings in clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations tailored for various customers, including executives and multi-functional teams.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis to find opportunities and inform strategic business initiatives, offers, processes, and product developments.
    Education and Work Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree Business, Statistics or similar field (Required)
    • 4+ years of experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, etc.). (Required)
    • 4+ years of experience in reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau; PowerBI) (Required)
    • 4+ years of experience in sophisticated analytics, which include SQL/ETL of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research. (Required)

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
      • SQL Intermediate technical skills (DataViz; SQL; automation; report/metric design; algorithms/modeling) (Required)
      • Intermediate analytical skills including problem solving and critical reasoning (Required)
      • Experience communicating/consulting; influencing; relationship management (Required)
      • Functional knowledge of Telecom; Supply Chain; Network Technology; Procurement (Preferred)

        Base Pay Range: $89,600 - $161,600

        Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

        The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

        At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
