Job Description:

Our manufacturing client is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for their facility near Louisville, KY.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for plant production goals.Responsible for product quality control for the plant.Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines.
Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production and shipping.Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff.Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills.Conduct employee performance reviews.Schedule and conduct plant meetings.Ensure maintenance of clean and safe plant.Communicate with all levels of personnel through strong interpersonal skills.Partner with corporate engineering teams to drive CapEx improvements throughout the facility.Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.REQUIREMENTS:10+ years
Experience within manufacturing5+ years
Experience in a similar position10+ years
Experience in supervising employeesStrong planning and organization skills and ability to multi-task.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, clients, customers, and the general public.Strong exposure to Unionized manufacutring facilities.Exceptional background driving continuous improvement throughout the facility (Kaizen).Ability to work well under pressure in fast paced environment.Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook Education.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field required.Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or other related field a plus!
