Join our team and let's continue making chocolate lovers happy! -A day in the life---As the Director of Operations Finance, you will be the strategic partner and lead the finance teams for the plants and operations teams; providing support and guidance for all financial aspects of their business units to ensure a high degree of financial oversight, cost optimization, planning and analysis. You will be externally focused and enable the operational teams to deliver efficiencies and cost management. You must have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication skills. In this position, you will work within the finance department and report to the CFO with a high level of exposure to Senior Management including the VP of Operations and Plant Managers.What you will be doing--- Direct and manage the manufacturing and distribution annual budgets including long term strategic planning support. Direct and manage the month-end accounting activities process for manufacturing and distribution, including manufacturing variances, earnings and spend analysis against forecast, budget, and prior year. Analyze monthly variances vs plan, communicate results to management team, and recommend interventions to ensure target delivery. Partner with planning and operations to manage and achieve defined inventory metrics and targets. Present analytical information and company action plans to all levels of the organization. Development and implementation of process improvements in the areas cost accounting and inventory control. Creates ad hoc reports as needed by supported departments and Finance Senior Management. Leading and developing a team of operations accountants and analysts.Do you have what it takes? - (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree Manufacturing Finance is required for consideration 7+ years Finance Management experience 3+ years experience managing multiple teams FMCG / CPG experience Strong operational finance experience Proficiency in Excel Strong understanding of Databases and Business Intelligence Tools (SAP BI, Hyperion, Cognos preferred) Willingness to drive and implement change Team player who leads by example -Do you stand above the rest?
