In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies
(FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of
Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Kansas
City National Security Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering,
manufacturing, and sourcing facility produces a wide array of
intricate components to deliver trusted national security products
and government services primarily for the NNSA. Honeywell

Summary of Duties:
The Data Governance Manager works across diverse business and
functional areas to define the enterprise data and analytics
strategy to drive a common set of data governance principles,
processes & tools to improve data integrity, quality, governance,
and availability
Managing information as an asset is critical to support operational
excellence through integration of systems
This role requires an experienced leader with a proven track record
in master data management (MDM) to develop and mature FM&T's
Enterprise Information Management capabilities
This role is responsible for developing the strategy and governance
of enterprise data and information for FM&T, including
designing the data organization and setting goals, standards, best
practices to drive data projects that create business value
This position is responsible for leadership over data management
initiatives and provides guidance for the use of data and
represents data stewards/owners
The EIM Data Management Manager also serves as liaison between the
Corporate Data Governance organization, the IT data management
team, and users of enterprise data
The goal is to ensure proper governance and standards are applied
to promote data quality, reduce administrative burden and maintain
interoperability across our systems
You Must Have:
Accredited BA/BS Degree in Information Systems, Business
Administration, Engineering or a related field
7+ years of related experience in data-driven and
Governance-focused business
8+ years of experience
Working with appropriate stakeholders to create a culture that
manages information as an enterprise asset
We Value:
Responsible for overall MDM strategy development and deployment,
and management of the availability, usability, integrity, and
security of the data employed throughout the organization.
Develop/enhance and oversee Data Governance, Quality, and Lifecycle
Management capabilities for customer, product, material and vendor
master data, and oversees the activities and progress of teams in
defining and commissioning the implement of the MDM strategy
Provide guidance on what enterprise data is required to support
business initiatives and the business value created from the data
in these projects
Develops and fosters understanding, ownership and support among
business for key EIM initiatives
Serves as the point of resolution and approvals between project
teams/business stakeholders and data governance standard and
requirements
Responsible for monitoring and evaluating progress in implementing
the data strategy using metrics and key performance indicators
Provide regular updates to Business Leadership on progress,
business impact in economic terms, and potential issues, and
presents business cases for review and approval by Leadership
Responsible for the communication and change management plan for
EIM within HBT and aligned to Corporate EIM, Commercial Excellence,
Customer Experience, Business Excellence, Strategic Marketing and
other key organizations within Honeywell
Displays a balanced, cross-functional deployment approach
Mentor and manage a team of data stewards and variable skill and
practice levels
Able to hire right talent, develop and motivate employees in a fast
paced, integrated team environment
