Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Facilities Planner/Project Manager
in our Facilities Management Department. This role provides a wide
variety of building related design and facilities planning services
for the Bank and Branch offices. The Facilities Planner/Project
Manager tasks and activities address changing business needs,
provides Bank staff with an attractive, functional, and safe work
environment, and often supports strategic Bank growth and/or other
business objectives.Starting Salary Range: $58,000- $66,000Key
Activities:Participates in workstation and office space planning,
furniture and fixture procurement, construction document
development with AutoCAD software, and budget
development.Responsible for the project management of small to
moderate scale projects ranging from workstation reconfigurations,
office remodels, and office additions with management direction and
oversight.Responsible for design development, budget development,
scheduling, move coordination, furniture, fixture, finish and
equipment procurement, contractor management, project monitoring,
and close out.Develops, with minimal oversight, Request for
Proposals (RFP's).Utilizes knowledgeable of interior design
principles and construction methods with the ability to research
and specify furniture, fixtures, and finishes that are functional,
align with project requirements, and are within the Bank's
aesthetic finish.Coordinates and assists with project oversight of
outside contractors and vendors to ensure project plans,
specifications, and requirements are followed.Monitors project
schedules and budgets to ensure timely and accurate
completion.Provides high quality customer service, responding
appropriately to customer requests in a respectful and timely
manner, and shall collaborate and brainstorm with colleagues and
clients.Incumbent must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless

sincerely held religious belief.Qualifications:Typically requires
0-3 years of relevant experience.2 years of space planning or
interior design experience and AutoCAD experience is preferred.A
bachelor's degree in interior design, interior architecture,
architecture, or related business field or equivalent combination
of education and experience.Strong knowledge of computer-based
programs, including, but not limited to, Adobe, Photoshop,
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.Good knowledge of building and
life safety code standards.Strong knowledge, understanding, and
interpretation of construction documents.Strong design and
facilities planning, and project management skills.Strong
problem-solving skills, excellent customer service skills,
effective, clear, and concise oral and written communication
skills.Ability to multitask and use time efficiently to meet
project deadlines.This role is a hybrid position, minimum of three
