Summary About the Position: Senior Program Manager for USACE
Designated "Mega Project" or Department of Defense Identified
mission critical projects. Come to Kansas City - the place to be

Participates in conferences/briefings with representatives of
higher headquarters, USACE, Department of Defense Agencies, other
Federal Agencies, senior customer officials, local/state
governments, contractors, and others. Provides staff leadership in
developing project schedules, budgets, manpower needs, and
milestones for programming and project management purposes. Keep
the Chief informed on a regular basis of program execution,
progress toward goals, and problems encountered. Work under the
direction of the Branch Chief, who outlines extremely broad
objectives, areas of special interest and emphasis, and matters of
priority concern. Provide advice concerning the planning, design,
and construction of mega program. Plan and prioritize work to be
accomplished by employees based on the difficulty and requirements
of the assignments and the capabilities of employees. Requirements

who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52
weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade
or equivalent (GS-13). Education Additional Information Male

Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S.
Citizenship. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is
subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense

Engineers and Scientists (Resources and Construction) position

may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel

Government Interest. Enhanced Annual leave and credit for
Non-Federal Service may be authorized. Advanced In-Hire Rate may be
authorized. Relocation/Recruitment/Retention Incentive may be
authorized. Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) may not be
authorized. Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or
temporary reassignment NTE 13 months by a current permanent Army
employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up
to a maximum of 5 years, and may be made permanent without further
competition. Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 5
years , if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee.
Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.
