In this role, you'll be helping to manage and activate a client's local and national partnerships and talent relationships, as well as supporting the client account team with additional event planning and execution, project management, media opportunities, sales team marketing support, and sponsorship consulting responsibilities.

  • Support with ideation, execution and development of overarching sponsorship / event activation strategy
  • Create, maintain, and/or share tracking systems to manage contractual assets (tickets, signage, etc.), timelines, budgets, client requests, deliverables, and partner information.
  • Analyze the business impact of marketing decisions, partnerships, and special event activations against client objectives and consumer perception/awareness of the brand
  • Actively participate in client meetings to learn about brand positioning and internal processes, share key learnings, and drive program efficiencies and success
  • Manage approvals with client and property in timely manner
  • Facilitate approvals with client-sponsored athletes, their representatives, and client internal teams
  • Work on multiple projects and partner with cross-functional teams simultaneously
  • Collaborate with GMR support services to support client requests and deliverables
  • Facilitate communication and activities between GMR, client teams, properties, vendors, and agencies
  • Support organic growth efforts to help GMR expand service offerings with existing clients
  • Manage and coordinate with various internal and external support teams to seamlessly execute client marketing objectives
  • Administrative duties including, but not limited to shipping, scheduling meetings, creating agendas and recaps, etc.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the sports, entertainment and lifestyle space, inclusive of current trends in experiential marketing
  • Monitor/report industry trends along with competitive activity within the local market.YOUR EXPERIENCE //
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 8-10 years' experience in sponsorship marketing, communications and/or property consulting at a brand, agency or professional property/league
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
    • Confident personality that can communicate and handle different management styles both internally and from the client side
    • Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational, negotiation, and time-management skills
    • Experience and comfort leading sponsorship & talent negotiation and activation.
    • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to clearly communicate direction/guidance in writing
    • Excellent project management capabilities driving ideation and strategic development from start to finish
    • Mastery of executive-level presentation development and storytelling
    • Ability to work as part of a team and independently to accomplish assigned and self-identified tasks
    • Proven & passionate leader with strong decision-making skills. Ability to lead a team of people and recruit, inspire, mentor, and grow talent to produce the best possible work for clients. Personality traits for success include integrity, honesty, transparency and a team-first leader.
    • Ability to travel for business and/or work during evenings and weekends as programs require.
