    Job Details

    Our client is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join their team. They will be responsible for
    • Analyzing and reviewing current policies and procedures and implementing improvements
    • Managing field safety professionals
    • Developing and implementing risk management strategies
    • Designing and implementing safety violation procedures
    • Providing and overseeing safety training, emergency procedures, and ensuring correctly used equipment.
    • Overseeing WC processes
    • Developing and conducting continuing safety training
    • Conduct field inspections and safety observations
    • Preparing and presenting monthly safety reports
    • Management of the OSHA logs
      They are looking for candidates that have
      • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health desired.
      • At least five years in a managerial safety role within construction.
      • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
      • Ability to communicate in written and oral communications, including presentations.
      • Previous experience in Electrical Transmission and Distribution Construction or Inspection is desired but not required.
      • Excellent knowledge of OSHA standards, DOT, and federal safety legislation.
      • Familiarity with writing health and safety policies and procedures.
      • Proficiency in conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
      • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with customers, employees, and project managers.
      • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
      • Field travel, including overnight trips, will be required.
