Job Description The Restoration Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and providing comprehensive new-hire and on-going training programs to production staff at current and future SERVPRO franchise locations. Work closely with project managers, operations managers, human resources, and the general manager to determine training needs, scheduling, and program development. Primary Roles and Responsibilities Develops, implements, maintains, schedules, and manages a comprehensive training program for production personnel. Ensures training events are properly prepared and executed with established processes within established timelines. Monitors and performs continuous on-the-job training of team members. This would include in person visits to our SERVPRO locations and assigned residential/commercial job sites in addition to online training. Develops and manages weekly safety and skills training sessions. Provides training, follow-up coaching and feedback to the production personnel based on individual needs and development opportunities. Works with the operations, project, and office managers to determine training gaps. Responds to requests and questions about training initiatives in a timely fashion. Performs other tasks/duties as required by employer. Necessary Experience and Skill Set Minimum 1 year management and/or supervisory experience Minimum 2 years working as a Fire and/or Water Damage Restoration Technician Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets, Workcenter, and DryBook. Strong people and communication skills, oral and written. Must thrive in a fast-paced, structured environment. Ability to use computer-based technology for effective training, communication, problem solving, and effectively relaying information. Quickly adapt and learn new policy and technology implemented in the workplace. Effectively provide team members instruction on process and practices. Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiples processes, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs. Anticipate and identify training opportunity while developing effective and efficient solutions. Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other team members. Desired Experience Experience in training fire & water restoration techniques, methods, and manuals; along with scheduling and tracking training Formal Education/Training Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or bachelor---s degree strongly preferred.
