Role Summary:
Reporting directly to the CEO of BrainLit North America Inc, with dotted line responsibilities to the Global Sales Support lead, the Lighting Projects Manager will be responsible for all aspects of solution delivery including vendor management and testing, and sales side solution development (led by the sales team), and guiding customers and/or installation and integration partners with solution set up and commissioning of BioCentric Lighting--- solutions, both remotely and in-person at select accounts where needed.

The Lighting Projects Manager will also provide clients with on-going technical support requests, to ensure client satisfaction.

Gaining a deep technical knowledge of BrainLit's hardware and software components to become the leading expert technical expert of BioCentric Lighting--- solutions is the very essence of the role. Understanding and streamlining the installation & commissioning approach, as well as local USA installation and compliance requirements, is a necessity.

Exposure to BrainLit's R&D and commercial resources, with track records that include the creation of BlueTooth, will accelerate one's career beyond measure.

This position will be based in NYC, NY or remote, and will require an estimated 50% travel within the USA and Canada to client accounts, with some international travel required from time-to-time.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Solution Delivery:
Provide implementation and commissioning support to the customer's chosen installer, based on BrainLit's suggested project plan
Provide on-going technical support to integrators and end-users
Visit customer sites upon request
Consistent communication with BrainLit HQ Sales Support team to ensure standardized best practices are being adopted in the USA

Sales Support:
Effectively train new sales, business development and integration partners in BrainLit solution development tools, to ensure timely scalability
Support sales solution demonstrations, educating customers and sellers alike, where necessary
Attend trade shows and conduct Lunch and Learns to engage industry stakeholders
Network and provide outreach autonomously in support of BrainLit BioCentric Lighting---

Product Portfolio Development:

- - - - - - - -In line with BrainLit's on-going luminaire sourcing strategy and working closely with the global R&D team, manage the local luminaire vendor search -database
Manage the local BrainLit vendor lab in line with internal proprietary protocols, testing new luminaires using a Light Control System and necessary electrical and networking test equipment where necessary
Coordinate specifications and technical document creation between Product Management team, and prospective vendors
Supporting senior leadership in vendor contract negotitations where necessary

Lighting Design:

Build BioCentric Lighting--- solutions for enterprise client project bids in line with RFPs/RFIs, critical success factors as outlined by Business Development team or integration partners, as well as local code and regulatory requirements
Document calculations, metrics, and KPIs, and build new Solution Development Tools to streamline the process and bidding capacity of BrainLit

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a Science, IT, Business, or Electrical Engineering discipline
Post-graduate education a plus
2-5 years technical electrical, and/or data systems integration and installation with enterprise accounts
After sales care experience required
Proven project management experience
Light system technical experience
Light system planning and design (including light measurement calculations such as Dialux, Relux, AGi132 or similar, and rendering with programs like Blender or 3DS Max)
Experience with, Sales, Account Management, ISO certified systems, and CAD a plus
Excellent presentation skills via multiple platforms (written & verbal), and service minded
Ability to network and work autonomously as the technical leader of BrainLit North America, Inc
Strong financial analysis skills
- - - - - - - -Proficient in all forms of Microsoft Office
Must be fluent in English
Other languages a plus

BrainLit North America, Inc offers competitive base salary, and health benefits. In lieu of retirement benefits for first 12 months, highly attractive bonus plans are provided.
