President, St. Joseph Catholic Schools Partnership
Kansas City, MO President, St. Joseph Catholic Schools Partnership The President is responsible for ensuring the Partnership fulfills its mission: Preparing scholars to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ together: Family, Parish, School. This mission is accomplished by the Partnership's creation of a system in which our schools collaborate with each other while ensuring long term viability of Catholic education in St. Joseph and extending into Northwest Missouri. Duties/Responsibilities

• Communicate and propagate the Partnership's Catholic identity and culture, promoting it within each school and representing it to the public.--
• Lead the education and curriculum for the participating schools, ensuring Catholic teachings and academic excellence goals are achieved and sustained.--
• Collaborate with Benedictine College on the development/education of teachers/staff.--
• Lead strategic planning activities on behalf of the board, helping to develop long range planning goals and plans, to ensure achievement of the mission and vision.--
• Direct the marketing and public relations efforts; manage allocated funds.--
• Serve as the chief spokesperson for the Partnership, providing visible, personal leadership and articulates and promotes the Partnership and the participating schools.
• Direct development and fundraising efforts, working with schools and helping to coordinate resources.--
• Lead development activities, such as meeting with current and potential donors, businesses, collaborating with alumni, and other school supporters.
• Direct activities to ensure the Partnership and the schools are operating in a fiscally responsible and sustainable manner.-- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Serve the Partnership schools in a professional manner and acts in accordance with Catholic doctrine and moral teachings.
  • Promote the reputation and values of the Partnership schools in acting as the primary liaison between the schools, the Partnership Board, and the Diocese.--
  • Work collaboratively with the participating schools' Principal, the Diocesan School Office, and the Partnership Board.--
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms. This includes having a commitment to open, frequent, and effective communication with all Partnership stakeholders: board, pastors, principals, teachers, parents, donors, and other community stakeholders. Requirements
    • Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing.
    • Undergraduate degree in Education, Business, or related field. Graduate work preferred.--
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in leading a multimillion-dollar organization. Preferred candidates will have more extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: Marketing, fundraising, development, and strategic planning.
    • Willing and able to travel to school campuses and deanery parishes.--
    • Able to attend/work at evening and weekend obligations.-- This is a full-time, primarily an outdoor position across all 12 months of the year. As full-time, the employee is eligible to participate in the Diocesan benefits program, including medical, dental and vision plans, STD/LTD fully paid by the employer, retirement plans including a 403b plan and a defined benefit pension plan.
