a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join their safety conscious team! This
position will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections,
and repairing of all company fleet at branch locations throughout

Responsibilities:Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one
priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and
processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.Correct all
equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on
company owned equipment as directed by management.Ability to
perform thorough inspection of equipment and identify
unsatisfactory condition.Full compliance with mandatory PPE
requirements during all work-related activities and tasksTravel to
other locations to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment as
required.Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required
for tracking PM schedules.Maintain active light duty or DQ driver
status as per mobile vehicle type.Performs other duties and tasks
as assigned from time to time by management.What does it take to
work for Clean Harbors?High School diploma or equivalent
required.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.1+ years
prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment.Must be
able to provide own basic tools.Willingness to travel within
assigned territory up to 70%.Attention to detail.Strong
communication skills.Ability to work flexible shifts including
nights, weekends, and overtime as required.Ability to determine
vehicle condition by conducting inspections, scheduled PM's and
diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts & replacement
as needed.Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test

Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on
diesel engines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.-
Inspect and test diesel engines to identify any potential problems
or areas of improvement.- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as
brakes, shocks, struts, and suspension systems.- Conduct
preventative maintenance on diesel engines to ensure optimal
performance and longevity.- Use hand tools and power tools to
complete repairs and maintenance tasks.- Read and interpret
schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to assist with
repairs.- Operate and maintain equipment used in diesel engine
repair, such as lifts and diagnostic tools.Requirements:- Proven
experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.- Strong knowledge
of diesel engines and their components.- Familiarity with
tractor-trailers, industrial equipment, and other diesel-powered
machinery.- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for
repairs and maintenance tasks.- Ability to read and interpret
schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.- Excellent
problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find effective
solutions.- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks,
including lifting heavy equipment or parts.- Ability to work
independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced
