The Role









Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri. Our Truck Technician (2nd Shift) is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing on-highway trucks to ensure the customer receives maximum value for work performed. Hourly Base Rate: $24.43 - $55.09 / hour (Includes $2.00 Shift Differential)Shift (4x10): Monday thru Thursday / 330pm to 130am Benefits:

  • Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance for on-highway truck
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs and adjustments
  • Remove / install parts, disassemble / assemble components, and test / adjust assemblies with minimal supervision
  • Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers on their repairs
  • Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.Our Ideal Candidate:
    Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulicsClass A CDL required or ability to obtain CDL within three months of start dateGeneral knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instrumentsKnowledge of use of various on-highway trucksMust be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publicationsAbility to drive and may require valid CDL licenseWhat will put you ahead:
