Description:Martin/Martin is looking for an experienced
structural engineer to join our Kansas City, Missouri office. This
engineer will have the opportunity for structural design nationally
and internationally in markets such as healthcare, commercial,
office, sports, entertainment, and education. This candidate will
possess strong written, technical, and interpersonal skills as well
as having excellent time management and organization skills.
Additionally, this role is in a new and growing office, so the
position will include a broad mix of opportunities for client
interaction and career growth.Examples Of Responsibilities.Manages
engineering and technician staff to complete projects.Coordinates
structural design scope in-house and with other
consultants.Develops, monitors, and manages project work plans,
schedules, and design budgets.Serves as the primary
point-of-contact with clients and contractors for their projects
throughout design and construction.Develops and implements project
specific QA/QC plans.Acts as a mentor and resource for
less-experienced staff and assists with their career
development.Attends project meetings and represents Martin/Martin,
Inc. during design and construction.Takes an active role in
developing and maintaining client relationships.About

Exceptional ProjectsRequirements:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's
degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering
curriculum Completed a minimum of 2 years as a Project Engineer and
9 years progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1
year. Passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1
year)Demonstrates leadership abilities beneficial to the company's
future Desired Qualifications: Completed a minimum of 3 years as a
Project EngineerHas designed numerous projects and followed them
through from start of design to end of constructionDemonstrates
effective internal and external communication skillsDemonstrates
advanced project management skillsAbility to handle stressful
situations/deadlinesAbility to handle confidential information
