Description Olsson provides construction management,
administration, and observation services for both public and
private projects to assure that work is performed in conformance
with project documents. Our construction services include daily
observation / inspection, project documentation, submittal review,
design support, shop drawing review, payment application review,
payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. We provide
technically qualified personnel for our clients' specific project
requirements. In this role, you will assist engineers and
construction managers with observation, inspection, and
documentation throughout all phases of OSP construction. You will
provide expert oversight of construction crews to ensure
contractors are placing fiber and related infrastructure according
to customer requirements and engineering plans. Responsibilities
include acting as the on-site representative during various stages
of construction, verifying quality standards, and ensuring
compliance with project specifications. Additional duties involve
monitoring special inspections and materials testing, managing RFIs
and submittals, attending project meetings, and confirming that all
quality documentation meets the owner's requirements. This position
requires the ability to work in diverse terrain and weather
conditions and will involve 100% travel to job sites. Primary
Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the quality
assurance program at the project site. Reads and interprets plans
and specifications at various stages of a project. Initiates
actions needed to keep construction progress on schedule. Solves
on-site problems and situations regarding construction of the
project and design modifications. Works in all types of terrain and
weather conditions on project sites in various stages of
construction. Identifies and avoids potential hazards for workers
and the public in and around project sites. This position includes:
The use of a company truck for transportation to and from job
sites. Applicable PPE (personal protective equipment) provided.

Eight (8) or more years' experience performing construction
inspection specifically with Fiber/OSP. Ability to read and
interpret drawings, specifications, and codes. Valid driver's
license and a good driving history. Schedule flexibility. Bisci
certification(s) preferred, but not required. Associate's degree in
a construction related field, preferred but not required. Minimum
of a High School Diploma or GED required. LI-DNI Additional
