The role

This position is for a Sr. Manager of Content Marketing to join our growing marketing team. If you accept this challenge, you'll help drive the company's content marketing strategy and execution. You'll support the overall vision, mission, and growth strategies for the company, and will be responsible for managing our branded content creation to drive measured engagement and action across all of Touchcast's channels.

Through smart and timely content creation and distribution, you'll drive web traffic and brand awareness. You're a talented and natural business storyteller who understands how content leads to positive business outcomes, turning fans into customers and customers into advocates. You're a natural at creating "shareable" content, distributing content on the appropriate platforms and measuring the results of marketing activity. You will help develop original campaigns with innovative, high-quality creative content in a collaborative, fun and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this is a fantastic opportunity to own a highly visible and valuable piece of Touchcast marketing.


  • Own content marketing execution, ensuring that Touchcast's narratives are in support of messaging strategies, product decisions, and business benefits.
  • Develop a high-quality output of engaging, educational and creative content that delivers on content strategy, drives lead generation, and positions Touchcast as a thought leader among event and communications communities.
  • Create and oversee content that spans many formats, including reports, blog posts, case studies, articles, podcasts, emails, bylines, and formats to be determined, and multiple properties, including Touchcast's website, resources page, and social networking channels.
  • Partner with account teams on client stories, executive leadership on bylines, product team on the future vision, and product marketing on content needs that support buyer journeys.
  • Team up with our Director of Demand Generation, who will be your closest "customer" internally - you'll work together on ideas that can be implemented across paid, owned and earned media.
  • Measure and track content, and report quarterly to the leadership team on content performance
  • Manage organic content promotion and employee advocacy on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and oversee an editorial calendar.
  • Enhance Touchcast's brand voice and editorial point of view.


    You are:
    • A natural business communicator that can frame sophisticated ideas in a way that people readily understand.
    • A doer. A born collaborator with empathy and the ability to work across functional departments, relevant business communities, press, and customers.
    • Street-smart in how to build an engaging content program, not just write content.
    • A strong project manager, with "leave it to me" organization and creative business writing skills.
    • Experienced within the technology and/or software categories. Familiarity with events and virtual events is a bonus, but not required.

      Skills And Requirements
      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
      • Top-tier writing talent for business audiences mixed with savvy on how content drives demand for B2B tech products and services.
      • 4+ years of content marketing experience; you can share several examples of content campaign success from your recent past.
      • Experience with online community building.
      • Data-driven in your approach; proficiency with Google Analytics and broader social media analytics is preferred.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially as one of the first members of a growing marketing team.

        Success Over the Next 3 Years
        • Marketing qualified leads generated through Touchcast's content continues to grow (in quantity and quality) year-over-year.
        • A consistent measurement mechanism established, focused on both engagement - such as website traffic, readership, social media, and SEO metrics, as well as content performance - such as downloads, leads, and MQLs.
        • Formulate content workflow processes that are repeatable for each format and property, so that content is consistently delivering on marketing goals to drive leads, shorten the sales cycle, educate prospective buyers, and improve sales enablement.
        • Find ways to use marketing, website, email, or customer data in content campaigns or personalization opportunities.
