Job Description:
Job Description Job Description The Starts Coordinator will
provide primary administrative support to Construction departments.
Duties include: Maintaining and managing the Pre-start Tracker
including ordering Engineered Plans, Site Plans, PM Approval,
Permit Submittal, Receiving Permits, construction loan requests,
ratifying design addenda. Working with various municipalities to
coordinate permit submittals. Coordinating with water meter
installation. Preparing start packets for the Construction team.
Ordering and distributing materials/supplies that support
Construction and Construction offices. Performing daily IHMS,
Closing Tracker, Construction Tracker, and Sales Tracker updates.
Exhibiting a proficiency in the Sales and Construction processes.
Creating standard operating processes. Compiling
weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for the Office Manager.
Participating in long- and short-term planning for business goals
and objectives. Serving as a liaison to Construction Management and
Superintendents. Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming
phone calls. Overseeing mail deliveries, packages, and couriers.
Processing all new home contracts, documentation uploads, and data
entry in IHMS. Provide backup for the department by reviewing new
home sales contracts for accuracy before submitting for
ratification, reviewing spec home setups for accuracy, scheduling
closing related appointments with buyers, completeness, and best
selection practices. Always look, dress and speak professionally.
Other duties as assigned. Education Required: High School diploma
or GED Experience / Qualifications Required: At least two years'
Sales or Customer Service experience Skills / Abilities Strong
customer service orientation and ability to adapt/respond to
different personality types Strong emphasis on quality of service
and follow up Detail-oriented Excellent time management Excellent
communication and listening skills Critical thinking skills
Organized with attention to detail Ability to create and follow
processes Proficiency with e-mail, spreadsheets, etc. Self-starter
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and
working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds,
occasionally
