Job Description The JOB
Our Kansas City office is seeking a full-time Admin / Receptionist / Project Coordinator to assist engineers with all administrative aspects of a project and to help with day-to-day office tasks.
Duties and responsibilities of the position include:
Managing the reception desk, answering phones and greeting office guests / visitors
Maintaining and ordering office supplies
Administrative assistant to the Principal and Project Managers in the office
Typing / revising of specifications, narratives, reports, etc.
Creating and maintaining project files
Maintaining construction administration phase of project (e.g. submittals, RFIs, change orders, etc.)
Assisting with office event planning (monthly birthday/anniversary celebrations, summer outing, annual holiday party, etc.)
Expense reports, timesheets, phone and mileage logs for a group of engineering staff
Assisting with PE license application, maintenance and renewals for the staff engineers
Other duties are assigned as necessary

YOUR Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience providing administrative support on a group level
Intermediate to Advanced level of experience using MS Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and highly organized
The ability to work with minimum supervision or as part of a team
Punctual and professional
Ability to work well under pressure
Must be able to work overtime when it is needed to meet project deadlines
