Verification Specialist ***This position requires an active Public
Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
to be considered. *** The Data Verification Specialist will ensure
the accuracy and reliability of data within a company's databases
or systems. The primary role involves reviewing and validating
information to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies.
This may include cross-referencing data from various sources,
conducting audits, and implementing quality control measures. Data
Verification Specialists play a crucial role in maintaining data
integrity, which is essential for informed decision-making and
efficient business operations. Additionally, they may collaborate
with other teams to resolve discrepancies and update records as
needed, contributing to the overall reliability and effectiveness
of an organization's data infrastructure. Compensation & Benefits:
* Estimated Starting Salary Range for Data Verification Specialist:
$21.00/hr * Pay commensurate with experience. * Full time benefits
include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits
as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Data Verification Specialist Responsibilities Include: * Performs
data verification functions on Information Returns on the SCRIPS
systems as well as minor transcription of information into a
computer program. * Inputs data into an inventory tracking system
and input entity changes, such as name and address changes, on a
computer system * Processes requests for a variety of products such
as transcripts and utilize automated tools on a computer system *
Performs general clerical work including filing, sorting, batching,
or grouping documents. * Extracts mail from incoming deliveries *
Retrieves documents from files, file documents, associate documents
with existing files. * Stamps documents with information such as
received dates and numbers. * Prepares documents for scanning
according to instructions including but not limited to carefully
removing all staples from the document, and repairing rips, tears,
or large holes. * Prepares paper tax returns for numbering and
transcription, pen and ink changes on paper returns * Shift hours
are from 6pm-2:30am CST * Performs other job-related duties as
assigned Data Verification Specialist Experience, Education,
Skills, Abilities requested: * A High School Diploma * A total of
one (1) year of previous clerical, office work * Ability to type 25
words per minute and be proficient in ten-key entry. * Must have
basic knowledge of Microsoft systems. * Must have an understanding
of uploading/digitization of documents * Ability to maintain
established records and files. * Must have good organizational
skills. * Ability to understand and carry out oral and written
instructions and to request clarification when needed. * Must be
Federal tax compliant having both filed and paid any taxes due in a
timely manner or be on an approved payment plan with the IRS and be
current with payments. * Must have an acceptable FBI criminal
history fingerprint and name check. * Must have two forms of
identification from the Form I-9 to complete a Personal Identity
Verification (PIV) process. * All males born after 1959 must be
compliant with Selective Service Registration law. * Must consent
to credit history check resulting in acceptable determination by
the Government. * Must complete Standard Form (SF) 85 and Optional
Form (OF) 306 questions 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16 and 17a via
eQIP for Government review. * The ability to successfully pass a
federal background check and drug screen as a condition of
employment. * Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee
