How You Contribute to the Team:

This position reports to the CFO and participates as a member of the management team. The Controller oversees all financial aspects of the business and has responsibility for Accounting, Billing and Collections, Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Projections, Treasury, Payroll, and Accounts Payable. We're looking for positive, knowledgeable, and process-driven team player with great attention to detail and a coaching mindset to join our growing team.

Daily Responsibilities
--- Manages the Finance team and responsibilities including Accounting, Financial Analysis, Accounts Payable, Billing & Collections, and Payroll.
--- Responsible for month-end close process; comprising detailed Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets and Funds Flow statements and including detailed supporting schedules, reconciliations, and analysis.
--- Performs the treasury function; manages bank accounts and cash flows.
--- Prepares and monitors regular detailed financial and cash projections and forecasts.
--- Responsible for developing processes, procedures and internal controls, designed to safeguard the organization's assets.
--- Ensures timely and accurate financial statement presentation including analysis and recommendations to the CFO.
--- Partners cross-functionally with Operations on process improvements and business initiatives displaying a collaborative, team orientated work ethic.
--- Manages insurance coverages, claims and premiums.
--- Research technical accounting issues for compliance and provides recommendations and guidance to the business.
--- Mentor and coach direct reports, delegating responsibilities effectively and holding team members to a high standard of excellence.

--- Proficient in MS Office Applications including Excel.

Experience Required
--- Five (5) or more years of experience managing multiple Finance functions.
--- Five (5) or more years of experience managing a multi-person Finance department.
--- Experience working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and growing environment.
--- Experience working with accounting systems, preferably QuickBooks.
--- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel

Education Required
--- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance
--- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
