Job Description:

a Commodity Hedging Specialist, your goal will be to help dairy
farmers, processors and customers utilize risk management tools to
achieve financial stability, as a part of the DFA Risk Management
team. By helping them manage their price risk, you're creating

families' goals. -You will build meaningful relationships within
our team and across DFA, gain experience and knowledge in a rapidly

occasional days in the office could be required. -Job Duties and
Responsibilities:Gain an expertise in commodity hedging
practicesExecute customer and internal contracting and hedging
orders and supporting hedges for farmer-owners' forward contracts
by hedging in futures and options, with customer or internal
counterparties and swap counterparties.Executing and recording
verbal & electronic transactions of futures/options at the CME or
via third party swaps to hedge our forward contracting
transactions', internal plants', and divisions' bona fide
riskPerforming reconciliation and audit functionsMaintaining CME &
DFA positions daily across multiple commoditiesTracking and
managing working orders execution Assisting with the maintenance of
accounts and databases, including but not limited to TriplePoint,
QST, QST Quotes Calculator, Futures Files, CME DirectMaintain
existing and develop new dashboards in Power BI to better
communicate relevant information to decision makersContribute to
continual improvement of DFA Risk Management programs and
servicesDevelop an appreciation and understanding of DFA's
business, programs, services, and philosophyContinue education and
increase knowledge of dairy business and pricing, commodity risk
management markets, tools, and programsComplete a quarterly review
of Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. Commodities Compliance
ManualAssisting with other DFA Risk Management functions as needed
(invoices, vouchers, margining responsibilities, etc.)The
