We are currently looking for a Business Banker, AVP to join our team. This position will work @Flex (a combination of both in the office and at home).

The Business Banker, AVP is responsible for generating, expanding and servicing the Bank's deposit relationships. Provides consultative and creative Bank solutions to current and prospective customers. The Business Banker acts as the Bank's officer of business development as well as being the relationship and account manager of existing deposit customers. Refers customers to all credit, deposit, and other financial services products offered by the Bank.

What you'll do

  • Assist with servicing existing commercial deposit portfolio
  • Serves as a liaison between Commercial Lending and all other Departments on deposit and treasury matters
  • Following an introductory period, you'll maintain a high level of qualified calling activity to generate new deposit and loan relationships to achieve or exceed specific production goals
  • Active identification of Deposit and Bank prospects to gather deposits nationwide
  • Achieve internal collaboration with partners in lending, deposit-operations, and branch teams
  • Cross-sells to existing customers through development of relationships with internal partners
  • Develops personal leads and prospects by utilizing Bank and Market data; along with external referral relationships
  • Develops, monitors, and manages sales initiatives; provides periodic status reports to management
  • Responsible for profiling needs of prospects and customers; then making appropriate recommendations
  • Actively participates in professional groups, associations, and community activities
  • Works with other team members to develop and execute growth and retention strategies
  • Follows all applicable laws and regulations
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned

    What you'll bring

    • Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma AND a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Banking/Financial industry with specific experience in customer relations, account opening, serving commercial relationships and sales.
    • Knowledge of Bank products, services, bank regulations and compliance are preferred.

      Bonus Points

      • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
      • Experience using Salesforce enabled Platforms
      • Experience selling, onboarding and servicing treasury/cash management services
      • Experience selling and underwriting consumer and commercial loan products
      • Experience selling to C-level prospects
      • Experience individually interacting with multi-functional teams
      • Certifications: AAP, APRP, CTP
