As the Director of Delivery, you will:

  • Work with and through others, building and maintaining relationships.
  • Operate as an effective communicator, who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
  • Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently and working within established guidelines.
  • Be an active participant in maintaining guidelines, structure, and established policies as you work with and for others. As the Director of Delivery, you will be responsible for the general operational oversight of the Delivery Department (Deposit Operations)and ensure enterprise and divisional performance goals are achieved. You will have an opportunity to provide leadership and performance evaluations on all client support teams, which is comprised primarily of Deposit Documentation Support, Client Transactions Support (including the wire function), IRA/HSA Support, Operations Review, and Mail Room. You will be held accountable for the annual budget planning and performance of assigned cost centers, facilitating talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, talent development, performance management and coaching. Also, the Director of Delivery must be knowledgeable in all types of deposit products and services offered by The Bank, and the related support of those products/services.
    Additionally, the Director or Delivery will have full accountability for NBH's Bank's Operations team including transaction processing areas including deposit and payments transaction activity, account documentation quality control and maintenance, incoming and outgoing returns, mail room, ACH processing, domestic & international processing (RDFI), emerging payments such as FEDNOW and RTP (real time payments), and wire room management, processing, and fraud controls. You will research & adjustments, exception item processing, account reconciliation process including payee and positive pay reporting to Treasury Management, account maintenance, deposit operations, escheatment, components of ODP and Charge-offs, and deposit imaging. The team may be required to work weekends & holidays to accommodate special projects, deadlines, system changes, or acquisitions . Below are the Minimum Requirements for consideration:
    • A Bachelors in information technology or related field
    • 10+ years of experience in Bank Operations
    • 5+ years of leadership and people management experience Desired Skills: Ideal candidates for this position should possess some or all of the following skills:
      • 5+ years of technology engineering experience
      • 3+ years of Agile/Project Management experience
      • 10+ years of information technology experience
      • 10+ years of leadership and people management (in remote/geographical areas) experience Ability to understand concepts and new ideas quickly.
      • Familiarity with core Risk Management methods as applied in a financial services environment.
      • Knowledge of continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis.
      • Ability to handle sensitive issues with tact, confidentiality, and professionalism.
      • Strong strategic planning, project management, organizational and workforce management skills. Excellent strategic leadership skills with the ability to influence and think outside the box.
      • Excellent negotiation and communication skills - both written and verbal.
      • Ability to analyze, interpret and utilize significant data to make sound business decisions.
      • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse, and growth-oriented environment.
      • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
      • Ability to negotiate and facilitate issue resolution
