billion in total client assets.About This JobThe Private Banking
Client Associate provides administrative, operational, and client
support for Private Bankers within the Trust Company. The primary
goal of a Client Associate is to reduce time spent by the Private
Bankers on administrative and operational concerns. You'll prepare
client presentations, participate in joint calls with Private
Banking Officers, interact directly with clients, resolve
operational difficulties, and assist officers in preparation of
loan approval packages.Essential FunctionsManage portfolio of
client relationships for 1-3 Private BankersProvide a superior
client experience by completing tasks, resolving issues, and
following up in a timely mannerWork closely with assigned Private
Banker(s) to build a strong channel of communicationPrepare client
presentations and participate in joint calls when necessaryAssist
in processing loans and scheduling closingsCommunicate directly
with clients to complete service needs and document conversation in
the CRM (Quest)Work with the Private Banker(s) to ensure CRM
(Quest) records are kept up-to-dateIdentify new clients and sales
opportunities through client support and networkingSupport other
client associates by communicating effectively and providing
coveragePerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills &
Abilities RequiredKnowledge of general banking services and
products, with emphasis on lending and deposit productsDemonstrated
customer contact and communication skillsProficiency in word
processing and spreadsheet preparation required, familiarity with
contact management software and data base management helpfulGood
organizational skillsMotivated and organized self-starter with
strong attention to detailInquisitive, agile, and strong team
player with excellent communication skills (verbal, written and
interpersonal)Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all
situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow
that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level
proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookEducation &
ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of
education and experience required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree
preferred.2+ years retail or commercial banking experience
preferredExperience with Commerce internal systems preferred
[Salesforce, Quest, Teller Connections, Shaw, Branch Connections,
Encompass, Blend]***Level of role is determined by knowledge,
experience, skills, abilities, and educationFor this position,
federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an
investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history.
